St Hallett The Black Barossa Sparkling Shiraz

Expert Reviews

James Halliday says
Medium red-purple; a savoury bouquet of berry, licorice, spice and vanilla translates into a similarly flavoured and complex palate; the finish is well balanced and not too sweet. Blended from base wines covering two decades, retrieved from old barrels in the corner of the winery. Given a minimum of 18 months on lees.

Tyson Stelzer says
With signature Toby Barlow polish, this is one of the Barossa's most crafted sparkling blacks. Parcels of Barossa shiraz stored in old barrels for a decade are freshened with violet and black cherry nuances and flavours of liquorice and black pastilles. It's poised, persistent and creamy.
