Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
The green-edged 2001 vintage is a reasonably flavoursome wine with firm acidity, clearly herbaceous flavours and a slightly tart finish.

Light to medium yellow-green; a delicate and elegant wine, perfectly balanced and beautifully made but which, in the final analysis, lacks distinctive character. I am at a loss to explain the reason.

This Canterbury-based winery's first Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from the 1999 vintage reflects the lengthy experience of Alan McCorkindale, formerly winemaker at Corbans Marlborough Winery. It's a crisp and delicate wine with plenty of garden-fresh melon, lime and asparagus flavour and an enjoyably zingy finish.

Michael Cooper says
This wine is typically fresh and lively, in a medium-bodied style with good but not great depth of melon and green-capsicum flavours and a crisp, dryish finish. Priced right
