St Huberts Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay

Cracka Review

Colour: Red with crimson hues.

Nose: Attractive macerated dark berry fruits and ripe cherry notes mingle with underlying game and spicy characters, finishing with a hint of oak.

Palate: Soft fleshy fruit notes follow on the palate. The structure is light to medium bodied and the palate is framed by subtle dusty tannins. Hints of oak and plums persist on the finish.

St Huberts Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
Very pale straw-green; the lemony/leafy/citrussy bouquet is followed by a palate with good mouthfeel, with touches of melon and strawberry and faint nuances of cream. The label very precisely describes the varietal mix of 57 per cent Pinot Noir and 43 per cent Chardonnay, but does not disclose whether or not this is a Yarra Valley sparkling.
