Michael Cooper (1995 Vintage) says
The 1994 vintage slightly lacked freshness and vigour, but the '95 is a big step forward. Barrel-fermented, with 50 per cent of the blend given a softening malolactic fermentation, it is a yellow-hued wine with a richly oaky fragrance. drinking well now, it is a weighty, savoury wine with good depth of ripe, citrusy flavours fleshed out with buttery oak.
