Cracka Review

It's something of Chardonnay epicentre is the Yarra Valley, with more fine booze than you can poke a chardy flavoured stick at (pardon the pun). This particular example was picked early to maintain freshness then given some very clever oak treatment, which all makes for a wine that is both lean and rich. Excellent combination that.

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: White gold with green highlights.

Nose: Lemon, white peach, nectarine, toast.

Palate: Lemon curd tart, grapefruit, nectarine, nougat, flint.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Very attractive sweet white peach/stone fruit aromas and flavours; length and intensity; a subtle flick of oak.
