Expert Reviews

Australian Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine (2010 Vintage) says
Bright, fresh and surprisingly complex for a chardonnay with such an ethereal, weightless quality. Grapefruit, peach, fresh baked bread and subtle toasty oak flavours. Very pure and highly drinkable.

WINESTATE (2010 Vintage) says
Fleshy, with good weight and richness, but currently dominated by oak (according to all judges.) Fresh, with considerable complexity and a sustained, well-rounded finish. Worth cellaring.

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
Since the 2007 vintage, this wine has moved to a more 'fruit forward' style, involving briefer oak maturation - it is fermented and lees-aged for four months in new and one-year-old French oak casks. The 2010 vintage is fleshy, with good weight and richness. Fresh, with considerable complexity, it has a sustained, well-rounded finish.

WINESTATE (2008 Vintage) says
Intense melon/citrus aromas with nice toastiness showing. Pungent passionfruit flavours make for a great summer drink.
