Summerfield Tradition (Blend of red Bordeaux varieties and Shiraz)

Expert Reviews

Jeremy Oliver (2007 Vintage) says
Long and savoury, with plenty of fruit sweetness all down its meaty, fine-grained palate, this ultra-ripe red has style and balance. Its dark, currant-like flavours of plums, blackberries and cassis are backed by layers of dark chocolate-like oak and dusty tannins, delivering lingering fruit sweetness and a regional presence of earthy menthol notes.

Jeremy Oliver (2006 Vintage) says
Rather minty with a lively, spicy presence of small blue and red berries, cassis and plums, backed by undertones of redcurrants, mulberries, lanolin and sweet cedar/vanilla oak. Smooth and polished, it slowly reveals a pleasing length of bright fruit and cinnamon-like spice firmly supported by fine, pliant tannin. Well balanced and structured.
