Swings & Roundabouts Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

It's the classic Margaret River (and West Australian) blend this, with Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon crafted together into what can be both a crisp and complex blend, emphasising the simple joy of fresh fruit, coupled with some clever winemaking to make for a rather complete wine.

This follows the script perfectly, with the Sauvignon Blanc giving some lovely herbaceousness on the nose and the Semillon contributing length and generosity to the palate, all making for a rather delicious summer wine with just that little bit more interest.

Winemaker's Notes

Fresh and lively, this is a classic blend of Margaret River varieties and has been made with pristine cold–pressed free run juice fractions, cold fermented and bottled fresh to maintain the authenticity of the style.

Appearance: Pale green.

Nose: Lifted fresh crystalline sharp fruit that is perfectly clean and has succulent Sauvignon Blanc freshness with a dry Semillon background.

Palate: Flint dry, but with an explosive first impact of sweet racy fruit, the palate is medium to light bodied with a fine and lengthy finish and crisp acidity.

Food: Rottnest King George Whiting

Cellaring: Enjoy now or cellar for two to three years.
