James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Good hue, although not the depth others achieve; an unusually perfumed red fruit profile, with an utterly unexpected touch of mint thrown in for good measure; a long way away from textbook petit verdot.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Typical deep colour; abundant ripe black fruits and equally abundant soft tannins and oak; flavour rather than finesse, usually the casewith petit verdot.

WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Floral, fruity bouquet with a hint of mint and a big, tannic palate that has loads of fruit, good acidity, excellent oak and alcohol, balanced with a fruit-driven finish. 5+

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Impressively made, in full-bodied mode as befits the variety, but without aggressive extract; dark berry fruits, tonnes of cedar and spice join the tannins on the finish.
Australian Wine Companion 2009 2008
WINESTATE (2006 Vintage) says
Purple/red wine with a vibrant berry bouquet and soft, juicy palate bursting with juicy blueberry flavours and balanced by good level of acidity. 2-3
