James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Pale pink and bright, the savoury nature of sangiovese shines through on the bouquet, offering red fruits, fennel and briary notes; the palate is bone dry and vibrant, almost crunchy in its definition, and thoroughly refreshing.
Australian Wine Companion 2014 Edition 2013
Ken Gargett (2006 Vintage) says
Taltarni is back. After a few years in the wilderness, the Taltarni wines from the 2004 vintage onwards are absolutely first rate and this pink beauty is exactly how I like them. Bright pink but not that rather terrifying bright cherry colour (does anybody know what I mean?), this treads a gorgeous line between sweet and dry and is absolutely perfect with any sort of food in warm weather.
Don't Buy Wine Without Me 2007 2007
James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Bright purple-red; an excellent juxtaposition of small red fruits and crisp acidity on the finish.
Australian Wine Companion 2007 2006
James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Bright red-purple; plenty of mid-palate red fruit; dry finish, balanced acidity.
