Tyson Stelzer (2012 Vintage) says
From Tamar Valley estate vineyards, there’s a dramatic contrast here between lemon blossom delicacy and toasted cashew nut oak, grapefruit and white peach generosity and taut, fine, energetic Tasmanian acidity. Another year in bottle will help it to find its harmony, and it has the stamina to go the distance, thanks to considerable persistence, even line and a finely textured mouth feel

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Clean, smooth and supple; stone fruit complexed by carefully targeted oak and mlf inputs; good length.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Classy barrel-ferment inputs to a complex wine built around stone fruit flavours; excellent line, length and balance. Top gold Tas Wine Show '06 and again in '07, still superbly complex.

James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
Big, rich, ripe stone fruit and melon; some creamy malolactic fermentation notes.

James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
Very attractive stone fruit and citrus; elegant, intense and long.

James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
Medium yellow-green; the bouquet is complex and quite concentrated, with nuances of barrel-fermentation and creamy/nutty malolactic-fermentation inputs. The palate has excellent fruit weight and intensity, the flavours running through melon to nectarine; there is pronounced acidity on the finish, but not sufficient to unbalance the wine.
