Tamar Ridge Josef Chromy Selection Blanc de Noir

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (1996 Vintage) says
The very fresh bouquet is mol"" suggestive of Chardonnay than Pinot Noir, but that is not uncommon in very cool climates, including Champagne itself. The wine has good length and balance, sweet fruit on the mid-palate, and the dosage is perfectly weighted; lingering finish and aftertaste. The earlier disgorgements of this wine were tart and acidic; it has taken a considerable time for it to get its act together.
