Tamar Ridge The Bend Merlot Cab

Cracka Review

Colour: Deep, purple red with crimson tints.

Nose: Ripe brambleberry and spicy plum aromas along with attractive chocolate and coffee overtones. There is just a hint of some leafy elements adding interest and complexity and confirming the cool climate origins of the wine.

Palate: This is a medium weight style with mouthfilling ripe berry and plum fruit flavours dominating the front of the palate. The mid-palate is generous and fleshy with soft tannins and gentle oak complexity leading to a finish with excellent flavour persistence and a pleasing acid balance.
