Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Interesting wine; while relatively light in colour and body for vines approaching 90 years of age, it has considerable finesse, reflecting hand-plunging of open fermenters and 100% French oak maturation. Impressive winemaking.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Bright, but relatively light, hue; a deliciously, and surprisingly, light- to medium-bodied fresh wine that could have been grown in a cool climate; in fact from 86-year-old estate vines, open-fermented and matured in used French oak; skilled and sensitive winemaking
