Tapestry The Vincent McLaren Vale Shiraz

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Medium purple-red; from Tapestry's Bakers Gully Vineyard planted in the early '70s; matured for 18 months in French oak; full-bodied, yet supple and rounded, with black fruits, spice and licorice reflecting the cool site. Why condemn this wine to cork and give its cheaper sibling the advantage of screwcap?

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Some volatility and shrivel here, yet has good concentration, dark pruney fruit and a fair amount of oak; more life on the finish, with chocolate and fruitcake to conclude. Cork

James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
Elegant spicy/savoury/chocolatey fruit, with excellent intensity and length. Utterly atypical for icon McLaren Vale style.
