WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Vibrant colours, lifted herbal nose and sour astringent mulberry and blackcurrant-like flavours with firm tannin support.

Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh (2007 Vintage) says
Walsh reckoned that as he tasted this wine he kept reading 'Tassell' and thinking burlesque. He also insisted that this be noted in the book - along with the more useful note that 'petit verdot is a good grape when the climate is clement'. It's a blend of petit verdot and merlot grapes and judging by this, it's a blend that has legs. It tastes of rich plum and berry, chocolate and swish, sweet violets. It's toothsome. You swallow it, and the aftertaste is fresh. The balance is good too. A bit different, and really very nice.
