Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Has that glorious incandescent green colour of Semillon reaching the first stage of its maturity; it still has the particular lemon butter/lemon juice flavours of the Õ07 vintage, and while it will not fade or broaden, it is unlikely to give more pleasure than it does now.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Vibrant green hue; a heady combination of lemon curd and freshly toasted brioche; the toastiness is prominent on the palate, with the lemony acidity providing cut and thrust; a generous, rich and certainly ready aged release.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Still pale green-quartz; there is a faint echo of herb on the bouquet, lost in the lemon-accented thrust and energy of the palate, a mark of a top semillon vintage.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Bright, glowing light green; still in its youth, with the clearest possible link to the '08, the flavours just a little more intense and complex. You can't fault the wine, but the price is ambitious.
