Taylors Promised Land Shiraz

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Taylors hope to tempt your palate with a taste of the promised land. Not difficult really as they always over-deliver on the quality to price ratio. This Shiraz is a great example and if you were seeking a mid week red to go with a steak or some gourmet sausages this would fit the bill perfectly. It’s lively with plum, currant fruit and a hint of spice before a medium bodied palate full of juicy fruit, soft tannins and elegant finish.

Winemaker's Notes

This is an immediately approachable wine that exhibits all the hallmarks of classic Australian Shiraz with a core of rich varietal fruit and a vibrant spicyc haracter that just begs to be drunk!

Bright hue; a very well made, juicy shiraz with red and black fruits jostling for a position on the first row of the grid, tannins and oak somewhere in the pit lane. Great value.

This is what we like to see from Taylors - fresh, fruit-driven, value-laden reds. Juicy little sucker. Full of succulent plum and blackberry-like flavour, topped off by a clear dose of toasty, smoky, coffeed oak. The juiciness flows all the way through the finish - it's one of those reds that you just keep reaching for again, and again, and again.
