Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2011 Vintage) says
Hailing from the cool, maritime-influenced climate of Nelson at the top of the South Island, the Te Mania Pinot Gris shows classic pithy pear aromas, along with lighter shades of papaya and tropical fruits. Rich and concentrated, with some lees influence on the palate in the form of clotted cream. Balanced, cleansing acid drives the wine to a persistent finish.

WINESTATE (2010 Vintage) says
Full-bodied, with fresh, ripe citrus, lychee and spice flavours. Softly textured, with pure, clearly defined varietal characters, a touch of sweetness and good length.

Nick Stock (2009 Vintage) says
Attractive, ripe and bright stone fruits here, some papaya and mango too, all mixed through nectarine and peach -smells terrific. The palate's supple and smoothly honed, with compact, flavoursome appeal and bright acid throughout.
