Temple Bruer Preservative Free Shiraz

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

It’s good to see some wineries caring beyond the call of duty and bringing the public a wine that will prevent nasty allergies. Many people are allergic to sulphur additions in wine and the clever people at Temple Bruer have made a preservative free Shiraz that will not bring you out in a rash or a coughing fit. It’s a classic Shiraz with cherry and blackberry aromas before a fruit driven palate that’s got firm tannins, ripe berries and a spicy finish. Perfect with a hormone free cut of beef.

Winemaker's Notes

The wines created at Temple Bruer reflect our philosophy of creating sustainable wines by mindfully working with nature. We believe that certified organic vineyard practices achieve healthy balanced vines leading to excellent fruit flavour and balanced wines. During winemaking we pay close attention to detail with the aim of minimising the use of additives and the movements of wine where possible.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Crimson-purple; aromatic red and black fruits on the bouquet thin out somewhat on the palate, but a good wine for the niche market.
