T'Gallant Holystone Rose

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

This almost ruby-coloured, more off-dry style of Rose will be a hit with some spicy Thai food, and is bound to be popular around the table. Smells of red berries and peaches float out of the glass, whilst the palate is a bit more generous in it's berry flavours than most Roses, with a kiss of sweetness upfront, a line of soft and talcy tannins, and a smooth, juicy, spicy finish.

Winemaker's Notes

Made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.Brilliant damask, pink colour. Excellent aromatic nose with a delightful juxtaposition of ripe peach and ripe strawberry aroma. On the palate, generous flavours of ripe fruit reflect the nose, with tropical fruits emerging over subtle strawberry background flavours. Just a faint trace of residual sweetness. Soft acidity, followed by tropical fruit, strawberry aftertaste. Enjoy over summer.
