The Crater Rim Waipara Pinot Gris

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
The 2010 vintage is a single-vineyard wine, fermented with indigenous yeasts and partly barrel-fermented. Straw-coloured, with a slightly honeyed bouquet, it is mouth filling and rich, with an array of peach, apricot, ginger and spice flavours, showing excellent concentration and complexity. Full of personality, it's a medium style (18 grams/litre of residual sugar), already delicious.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
The 2008 vintage was fermented with indigenous yeasts and partly barrel-fermented. Light yellow, with a honeyed bouquet, it's a fleshy, peachy wine with a clear botrytis influence and good richness.
