Thistle Hill in Mudgee only make organic wines, and this one is also preservative-free for that extra bit of 'feel good' factor. There's plenty of primary, young fruit on the nose in the blackberry and plum spectrum, along with hints of pepper spice and earthiness. The palate is more medium-bodied (13.5%) and juicy fruity, with suede-like tannins, licks of savoury earth, and a bright, fresh finish.

Thistle HIll is nestled in the Cudgegong Valley on the outskirts of Mudgee, NSW. Founded in 1975, Thistle Hill is one of Australia's longest operating organic wineries. 

Appearance: Deep crimson in colour.

Nose: Lifted cherry, raspberry and floral characters on the nose.

Palate: The palate has a glossy texture and is bursting with cherry and raspberry fruit flavours, with a subtle hint of oak

Cellaring: Up to 4 years.
