Jeremy Oliver (2010 Vintage) says
First-rate, with a deep, ethereal bouquet of red and blue flowers, sweet small red and black berries, five spice and tight-knit oak backed by suggestions of briar, cloves and blueberries. With a palate-staining presence of dark, sour-edged berries, plums and cherries knit with fine-grained newish chocolate/mocha oak and supported by a fine, graphite-like extract, it displays exemplary length and balance, finishing long, savoury and faintly mineral, with remarkable freshness.

Tyson Stelzer (2010 Vintage) says
Kiss is a leading light in new age Hunter Shiraz, and 2010 is an outstanding example, capturing impressive fruit concentration within a refined, medium-bodied shell. There is wonderful intensity of enticingly pure black plum, black cherry and liquorice fruit, with a violet lift, yet at every moment restrained and calm, at a refreshing 13.5% alcohol. Oak shrinks into the background, propelling fruit upward and onward, into a very long finish. Fine-grained tannins possess a mineral texture, promising medium-term endurance, albeit an earlier drinking Kiss than 2009 and 2011.

Andrew Thomas quips that if you say "Kiss Shiraz" fast enough, you'll discover what he really wanted to name his flagship wine. Taste it and you may feel an urge to kiss anything within reach, such is its gorgeous restraint, lifted pepper and spice, elegant structure and long strands of sinewy tannins.
