Tyson Stelzer (2009 Vintage) says
Tim McNeil is a name to watch in Clare and his shiraz is ready to go. From a single, dry-grown vineyard near Auburn in the southern end of the region, it’s loaded with generous, sweet mulberry, blackberry and plum fruit. Surprisingly well integrated, fine tannins give the impression of softness, yet lack nothing in structure. French oak is masterfully executed, lending a high cocoa dark chocolate edge to the finish.

WINESTATE (2009 Vintage) says
Old-fashioned Aussie style with porty aromas and jubey fruit flavours. "Will have its fans."

WINESTATE (2008 Vintage) says
Black fruit aromas seamlessly balanced with complex oak characters leading to an excellent toasty oak and plum fruit palate.

WINESTATE (2006 Vintage) says
Very oaky nose - quite sweet and peppery - and long, generous, raisined fruit/oak palate with more peppery characters.
