Tintara Reserve Grenache

Expert Reviews

Jeremy Oliver (2007 Vintage) says
A heady, ethereal perfume of briary redcurrants, prunes, quince and dark plums opens with a slightly confectionery presence of blueberries and a hint of older, polished oak. Long, smooth and vibrant, its rather spicy and reserved palate reveals layers of pristine fruit underpinned by fine, tight-knit and bony tannins, finishing quite savoury and powdery with a persistent core of fruit.

Nick Stock (2007 Vintage) says
Super-bright summer berry nose - raspberries and blackberries - some fragrant floral lift, really bright and attractive. Bright palate entry with fleshy sections through the middle, and fine and soft tannins with smooth, approachable balance.

WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Lovely red hues with rose petal aromas and creamy cherry and herbal flavours across the length of the balanced palate.

Jeremy Oliver (2004 Vintage) says
An exemplary expression of lusciously ripened, smooth and spicy grenache. Its complex, meaty perfume of cherry kernel, cloves, nutmeg and blueberry precedes a joyfully intense palate whose pristine bright berry/plum fruit reveals nuances of mint and licorice, with lingering notes of spice and cola. Tightly knit with fine, dusty tannins, it finishes with firmness and a restrained length of flavour.
