Cracka Review

Winemaker John Tomich is a passionate man who believes he makes wines that caress the nose, excites the palate and touches the souls. Well we are all for a bit of caressing, excitement and touching especially when it comes to wine and think that this Pinot Grigio will touch you too. This Grigio has a brilliant fruit profile in with apple and pear before leading onto a ripe, fresh palate that’s nicely textured with a crisp, dry finish. A perfect food wine that goes hand in hand with fish, antipasto, chicken salad or pasta.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Where the grigio wanders, this wine focuses, its pear and red apple fruit typical of the variety, along with a touch of spice.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Attractive juicy style, with good movement in the mouth; delicious flavours, ranging from pear to near-tropical; '07 seemed to be kind to pinot gris.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Mainstream aromas of apple, pear and musk; the palate has a catch on the finish akin to that of grenache blanc; subliminal sweetness.
