Tomich Hill Marlborough Park Chardonnay

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Tomich Chardonnay: Position, position, position – so they say in the real estate game. And in wine the same can be true – one piece of dirt located in the right place can be gold, gold gold. So when your vineyard is right next door to the Shaw & Smith vineyard in the Adelaide Hills, where they make their brilliant M3 Chardonnay, then you’d be well on your way to making some damn fine wine.

And this is an impressive Chardonnay with everything in its place: fresh complex fruit – tick, creamy oak complexity – tick, fine fruit length – tick, great vineyard site – super tick. Hard to say no really!

Winemaker's Notes

Lingering honey dew, nectarine and citrus flower. Bred from high altitude and cool climate ‘terroir’. Reared on red clay over quartz.

Serving Suggestion: Crisp and delicate, this wine is perfect with fish and chips straight from the bag, or try with roasted chicken and sautéed vegetables.
