Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
The 2009, barrel-aged for a year, is light, cherryish and slightly leafy. The 2010 vintage is by far the best yet. Drinking well in its youth, it is ruby-hued and mouthfilling, with strong cherry, herb and nut flavours, woven with lively acidity. Vibrantly fruity, it is fresh and generous.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
The 2002 vintage of this North Canterbury red, matured in French oak barriques for a year, is an enjoyable, clearly varietal wine with berry, plum and herb flavours showing solid but not great depth.

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
Supple and forward, the 2001 vintage of this North Canterbury red is ruby-hued, with strawberry and spice aromas. It's a smooth, weighty, moderately concentrated wine with sweet, ripe fruit characters and some savoury, nutty complexity.
