James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
A beautifully crafted wine, lifting it out of its regional limitation and above its price bracket; melon, peach, fig and a touch of French oak.

light straw-green; a complex, rich wine with mouthfilling and ripe stone fruit and fig; a subtle touch of oak.

James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
Fine, elegant, fruit-driven; melon, fig and stone fruit; subtle oak influence.

James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Medium yellow-green; the bouquet opens quietly , with nice fruit and oak balance, but not a lot happening. The wine moves up a gear on the palate, with lively, tangy, citrussy fruit providing attractive, slightly squeaky, mouthfeel. As ever, good value.
Australian Wine Companion 2003 2002
James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
Glowing yellow-green; the bouquet is solid, with buttery/peachy fruit and a hint of French oak. The palate has good fruit intensity and length, with ripe peachy fruit typical of the best riverland fruit; mercifully, the oak handling is subtle
