Mount Macedon has been producing decent fizz for a number of years, courtesy of producers such as Hanging Rock. Now Trentham Estate are sourcing grapes from the region to turn out their own bottle of value bubbles. Aromas of white peach, lemons and subtle buttered toast waft out of the glass, whilst the palate is light and relatively dry, with some nutty, yeasty complexity, citrusy flavours, a fine bubble, and a touch of creaminess to the finish.

Winemaker's Notes

This sparkling is part of our carefully selected Victorian vineyard range that aims to epitomise the best these regions have to offer.

Showing light green straw with a fine, persistent mousse, elegant with subtle yeastiness. The taste is lively and fresh with a long silky feel and lingering finish.

Sourced from the cool Macedon Ranges where the high vineyard site produces ideal base wine for quality sparkling wines with naturally high acidity and delicate ripeness.
B Hand-picked Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes were whole-bunch pressed and cool fermented – the resultant base wine was bottle fermented and kept on lees for three years before disgorging and release.
