Triennes Rose IGP Mediterranee

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

What happens when two Burgundian powerhouses go looking for a summer holiday house in Provence? They end up buying a vineyard and make bloody good Rose. Jacques Seysses (founder of Domaine Dujac) and Aubert de Villaine (of Domaine de la Ronamee Conti fame) have teamed up to make this brilliant, fresh, dry Rose. Made predominantly from Cinsault, a grape native to the area, it is full of vanilla and strawberry with the crisp refreshing finish that has made Provence Rose famous all around the world. Pair it with a deck chair on sunny summer afternoon!

Winemaker's Notes

Grape variety: Principally Cinsault blended with Grenache, Syrah and Merlot.

Colour: Pale pink.

Vinification: Harvested at night so that the grapes are cool upon arrival in the winery. Pressed after a few hours of skin contact. Fermented at low temperature until dry.

Tasting notes: This wine has a bouquet of strawberries and white flowers with hints of vanilla. It has the harmony and elegance that has earned worldwide appreciation of the Rosés of Provence. Triennes Rosé is the perfect accompaniment to a sunny summer afternoon.
