Trinity Hill [Black Label] Hawke's Bay Pinot Gris

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The 2009 vintage was mostly (77 per cent) grown at Haumoana, with smaller parcels of grapes from Southern Hawke's Bay and the Gimblett Gravels. Hand-picked, fermented in tanks and old oak barrels, and blended with Viognier (10 per cent), it's a dry wine (1.5 grams/litre of residual sugar), powerful and fleshy, with concentrated, ripe stone-fruit flavours and hints of ginger, spices and honey. Generous and finely textured, it has a rich, rounded finish.
