James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Medium red-purple; very good varietal bouquet and palate with spice, plum and black cherry fruit; lingering finish.

James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
A savoury mix of forest floor and sappy cherry; long but unforced; early-drinking style. A blend of Mount Beauty and Mornington Peninsula grapes.

James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Clear, light to medium red-purple; the bouquet is clean and fresh, a mix of plum and a touch of spice; the light to medium-bodied palate is similarly direct and fresh, with cherry and plum fruit, but far less complex than one might expect at the end of 2002. Another year or so may well do the trick.
