Two Brothers Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Here we have another whte from Two brothers that has seen a kiss of oak, and spent time in Chookie the egg. It's a lemony, chopped herbs style of wine, that also shows a touch of tropical fruits on the nose and palate. The palate is light, zippy and rounded, with a talcy texture, brisk acidity, and a vibrant, refreshing finish. Excellent with seafood.

Winemaker's Notes

Made from a single vineyard of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. The 2013 vintage caused low crops across the region, resulting in grapes of great intensity (but low volume).

This wine is fresh and crisp and has 5% fermented in old french oak and 5% in a concrete egg (that we affectionately call Boonie) This adds some background texture without taking away from the lightness and vitality of the wine.
