Two Tracks Chardonnay
This cracking Chardonnay was crafted by the folk at the famed Wither Hills winery, who know a few things about making aromatic whites in the Marlborough region. Balanced with nectarine and lifted citrus fruit and some subtle oak. These flavours are mirrored on the plate to create a Chardonnay that’s creamy and harmonious and surprisingly long on the finish. It drinks brilliantly on it’s own but is rather partial to being paired with a chicken Caeser salad.
2009Bright citrus spice, a hint of pineapple with sweet subtle creamy french oak on the nose, with a long and generous palate showing soft seducing creaminess and tropical fruit flavours all bound up in an assertive acidty that gives length and balance.
This wine is approachable now and is perfect for all occassions. Served slightly chilled with crayfish bisque based dishes through to bright lime lemon infused creations.
