Very fine delicate chardonnay and pure in fruit with mouth watering acidity in 09. Made using a traditional hand operated basket press with startling results since 2007.

Bright colour; a toasty straw bouquet, with a hint of peach; thickly textured and warm on entry, the palate provides light and shade with vibrant acidity, and is a lively expression of Hunter Chardonnay

Nick Stock (2006 Vintage) says
This speaks in both regional and Tyrrell's house-style voice, some lemon barley aromas, fine fruits and well-judged savoury oak influence. The palate rides on bright acidity and taut chewy stone fruit flavours, finishes bright and dry.

A complex Chardonnay, with unquestioned varietal expression courtesy of stone fruit, fig and melon; integrated French oak and good acidity round off a high-quality wine. Dry-grown vines planted 1991

An altogether superior chardonnay from the Hunter Valley; very fresh, with excellent acidity underpinning the stone fruit flavours; integrated French oak.
