Valli Colleen's Vineyard Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
The 2001 vintage has everything you'd want in a young Central Otago red - rich, sweet fruit, warm, spicy, complex flavours and good structure. Grown at Gibbston and matured in French oak barriques for 10 months, it's a classic cool-climate Pinot Noir, already lovely but well worth cellaring.

Michael Cooper (1999 Vintage) says
The 1999 vintage was grown in the Gibbston area of Central Otago and matured for a year in French oak casks. Supple and mouthfilling, it possesses very good depth of cherry, plum, spice and slight herbal flavours, oak complexity, impressive overall harmony and a lingering finish.
