Veuve Ambal specialises in sparkling wine from the Burgundy region in France, but they can't call it Champagne. This one is made the same way as Champagne, but from a blend of white grapes, including chardonnay. It's quite fine and delicate in style, with aromas of citrus and honeysuckle. The palate is quite dry with a stone fruit centre, and a talcy mineral finish. It's amazing value for a touch of the exotic.
This blanc de blancs is yellow-green in colour with magnificent tints of gold, as well as fine bubbles.
GREAT VALUE! This is the best inexpensive methode traditionelle at this price. Made from 100% organic white grapes from quality driven Burgundy vineyards. ‘Brilliant yellow gold with green hints. Fine and intense aroma of white florals, ripe citrus peel, honey and minerals. Clean, dry and refreshing palate packed with ripe stonefuit, lemon and an attractive mineral finish.”
