The delicious, beautifully balanced and harmonious 1990 vintage is a Hawke's Bay sparkling based on 64 per cent Chardonnay and 36 per cent Pinot Noir. Pale, full and soft, with a slightly creamy texture, it is a complex and delicately flavoured wine with fractional sweetness and a long, rich finish. The '96 is also stylish, fresh and lively, with a richly yeasty fragrance and delicate, citrusy, nutty flavours of impressive depth.
