Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (1998 Vintage) says
As a satisfying dry white for anytime drinking, the 1998 vintage is hard to beat. Fresh and robust (13.5 per cent alcohol), it's a Hawke's Bay marriage of 60 per cent Chenin Blanc, cool-fermented in tanks, and 40 per cent barrel-fermented Chardonnay. Youthful, fresh and taut, with appley, lemony, slightly nutty flavours, it's a fruit-driven style with good vigour, offering good, bargain-priced drinking
