Consistently an excellent buy. The 2006 is a tight, elegant wine with punchy, limey, slightly minerally flavours and a slightly sweet finish. Tasted very shortly after bottling (and so not rated), the 2007 vintage showed strong, slightly sweet (8 grams/litre of residual sugar), citrus and slight passionfruit flavours.

Showing good intensity, with a mineral component, the 2003 is still fresh and youthful, with lemon/apple flavours showing good delicacy and a crisp, medium-dry, slightly flinty finish. The 2004 vintage (tasted prior to bottling, and so not rated) was grown in the Awatere Valley and lees-aged over winter. It's a citrusy, slightly limey wine, tightly structured, vibrant and incisively flavoured, with a slightly sweet (6 grams/litre of residual sugar), crisp finish.

Grown in the Wairau and Awatere valleys, the mouthfilling, full-flavoured 2002 vintage is an almost-dry style (below 5 grams/litre of sugar). It shows good weight on the palate, with ripe, delicate flavours of stone-fruit and limes, rich and lingering. The 2003, tasted prior to bottling (and so not rated) is ripely scented, with lemon and passionfruit flavours, crisp and strong
