Michael Cooper (1995 Vintage) says
This top-tier wine is typically more restrained in its youth than the standard label (above), but flourishes in the cellar. The 1994 vintage is pale, with delicate but impressively intense, lemony, appley, clearly spicy flavours and a tight, crisp, lingering finish. The '95 is a restrained, delicate wine, still unfolding. Grown at Omaranui in Hawke's Bay, it's full bodied, with crisp, lemony, clearly spiced flavour and a dryish finish. Leave it for a year or two.
