Bordeaux Superieur Rouge sits above Bordeaux Rouge in the general scheme of things, so for a couple of dollars more, you tend to get a touch more quality. This one comes from a fantastic year in Bordeaux, and shows graceful cassis fruits on the nose, together with a hint of spice, tobacco and meatiness. The palate is full, lush and rounded with easy going tannins and a mellowish finish.
The color announces a significant concentration. The nose is elegant and presents red fruit aromas, spices and this typical gamy flavor. On the palate it is rich and round, with great structure and melting tannins on the finish.
