Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
A stylish, good-value wine. The 2010, a blend of Marlborough (89 per cent) and Hawke's Bay (11 per cent) grapes, was fermented and aged for 10 months in oak barriques. It's a fleshy, well-rounded wine with ripe stone-fruit flavours, slightly toasty and creamy notes adding complexity, and good richness and harmony.

Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
A consistently elegant, good-value wine. The 2004 vintage was grown in the Wairau and Awatere valleys, and two-thirds of the blend was fermented and matured in French oak barriques (new and one-year-old); the rest was handled in tanks. It's an upfront style, smooth and rich, with fresh, balanced acidity and citrusy, sweet-fruit flavours seasoned with toasty oak.

A consistently elegant, good-value wine. The classy 2002 vintage was grown in vineyards in the Wairau and Awatere valleys, and two-thirds of the blend was fermented (with some use of indigenous yeasts) in French oak barriques (50 per cent new); the rest was handled in stainless steel tanks. It offers fresh, strong grapefruit and toast flavours and a hint of butterscotch in a vibrantly fruity, tight style woven with cool-climate acidity.

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
A consistently stylish, good-value wine. The classy 2000 vintage is an immaculate wine with rich, vibrant, grapefruit-like flavours and a hint of butterscotch, enlivened by fresh acidity. The 2001 is finely poised and rich, with concentrated melon, butterscotch and oak flavours and a long finish.
