The 2008 vintage was grown in the Awatere and Wairau valleys, and matured for 10 months in French oak barriques (10 per cent new). Ruby-hued, it is vibrantly fruity, with fairly light cherry and plum flavours and a smooth finish.

Full-bodied, flavoursome and supple, the debut 2003 vintage was grown in the Wairau and Awetere valleys, hand-picked and Matured for 10 months in French oak barriques. Ruby-hued, cherryish, plummy and spicy, with fresh acidity on the finish, it's a good but not great Pinot Noir, priced right.
