Taylors Pass vineyard lies 100 metres above sea level in Marlborough's Awatere Valley. The 2006 vintage is richly scented, with lime and gooseberry flavours, very fresh, vibrant, crisp and intense, and a bone-dry finish. The 2007 (tasted prior to bottling, and so not rated), is mouthfilling, with crisp, limey, slightly nettley flavours, delicate and lingering.

Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
The rich, pungently varietal 2003 vintage was grown in Marlborough's Awatere Valley, only-halt a kilometre from the Seddon Vineyard wine (above). A powerful (14. 5 per cent alcohol), bone dry wine, it is tangy and herbaceous, with an explosion of melon and fresh-cut grass flavours, lively and long. The 2004 (tasted prior to bottling, and so not rated) is again robust (14. 5 per cent alcohol), with ripe, limey, slightly minerally, lasting flavours.
