Michael Cooper (2011 Vintage) says
Instantly appealing red from Bendigo, ruby hued, with mouthfilling body and strong, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours. Savoury and complex, with good harmony. Drink now or cellar.

Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
The toasty oak makes a sweet spicy impression, adding mocha to ripe dark-cherry and plum fruits; it's meaty too. The palate's a little bit in halves for now, making a toasty, oak-derived impression, backed by ripe dark-cherry fruits and easy tannin wrap.

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Seductively scented and supple, the 2009 vintage is a very graceful wine. Ruby-hued, with strong, fresh cherry and plum flavours to the fore, deft oak handling adding a savoury, nutty complexity and gentle tannins, it is a floral, 'feminine' style with good immediacy, but also considerable cellaring potential.
