Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
Fresh, lively and crisp, the 2001 vintage is a South Island blend of Canterbury and Nelson grapes, made by Alan McCorkindale. Forty per cent of the blend was handled in tanks; the rest spent eight months in French (principally) and American oak casks. Showing good vigour and depth, it offers grapefruit and peach flavours, with hints of toast and butterscotch and a fractionally off-dry finish. (This wine was previously released under the Langdale label.)
