James Halliday (2000 Vintage) says
Medium to full yellow-green; the complex bouquet shows strong barrel-ferment inputs onto ripe, peachy fruit; the full-bodied palate, again with ripe, peach and nectarine fruit, finishes with slightly twitchy acidity which suggests the acid may have been corrected late in the piece. Nonetheless, a good wine.

James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
Medium to full yellow-green; the bouquet is strong and rich, with nutty/buttery/peachy fruit. The palate is nicely balanced and composed, again buttery/peachy and not over the top. The excess American oak of prior years seems to have been banished

James Halliday (1997 Vintage) says
Glowing yellow-green; voluminous charry/toasty American barrel-ferment oak on the bouquet, and clove/spice charry oak is likewise very evident on the palate. However, all of this oak has been well handled and integrated, and there is fruit lurking there in support. Will have enormous appeal to those who like oaky styles.
